My thesis in 180 seconds - Regional final competition on 7th of June

The 4th edition of the competition My thesis in 180 seconds Central Europe 2022 has been organized in Czech Republic by the Gallica association and the French Institute of Prague, with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland and the Czech Republic and L'Oréal.

This year again, due to the health situation, the 2022 edition of the Czech selection has been held online.

Now it's time for the final competition!

The Department of Romance Studies of the University of Vienna and the French Institute of Austria, in collaboration with the French Institutes of Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary, invite you to the Central European final of the "My thesis in 180 seconds" competition on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 5:00 pm in the Festsaal of the University of Vienna!

10 PhD students representing universities from Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic will compete. They will have 3 minutes to present their thesis topic in French and using simple terms. 2 candidates from the Czech selection will participate in this Final!

The public will also be able to vote for their favorite: a public prize will be awarded.

The Final will be held in the Festsaal of the University of Vienna (free entrance but registration is required via this link) and online on our Facebook page.
